The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis has extended its diplomatic relation to include visa-free travel to the African State Eswatini for 90 days starting 24th December 2020. The Federation now has visa-free and visa-on-arrival access to 156 destinations.
According to Micha Emmett, CEO of CS Global Partners, the St. Kitts and Nevis CBI Programme “has long been considered an option amongst wealthy Africans…By obtaining dual citizenship, you are able to diversify your options and gain easier access to the rest of the world.”
The Federation has shown a continuous thrust to expand its diplomatic footprint and network of visa-free travel globally. Since 2015, St. Kitts and Nevis has concluded formal diplomatic relations with 37 new countries and visa waiver arrangements with 27 new countries, many of which include African States.
Formal diplomatic relations since 2015 include: Belarus, Bolivia, Croatia, Cyprus, Dominican Republic, Kenya, Kosovo, The Maldives, Mauritius, Mongolia, The Gambia, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Turkmenistan, Brunei Darussalam, Ethiopia, Qatar, Moldova, Lao PDR, Armenia, Mozambique, Gabon, Eswatini formerly Swaziland, Tajikistan, Kyrgyz Republic, San Marino, Togo, São Tomé and Príncipe, Bahrain, Serbia, Rwanda, Palestine, North Macedonia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Cambodia, Honduras, Djibouti.
New visa waiver arrangements since 2015 include: Kosovo, Brazil, Ukraine, The Maldives, Indonesia, Seychelles, Bolivia, Sierra Leone, Kenya, Zambia, Taiwan, Russia, India (for diplomatic and official passports), Rwanda, The Gambia, Belarus, Montenegro, Ghana (for diplomatic and official passports), Serbia (2019), San Marino, Togo, Albania, Georgia, Paraguay, Marshall Islands, Uzbekistan, Eswatini (2020).
